Questions? We've got answers
We understand you might have questions before reaching out. Here are answers to the most common ones.
First Visit
What should I expect during my first appointment?
Your first visit is a relaxed conversation where we review your concerns, health history, and goals. Together we’ll outline next steps and a care plan that fits your needs.
How long is the initial appointment?
Initial appointments typically last longer than follow-ups so we can fully understand your needs and build the right plan together.
Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?
In most cases, no referral is required. If your insurance plan needs one, we’ll let you know what to request.
Insurance & Payment
What insurance do you accept?
We are a cash-only practice. We can provide a superbill you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
What if I don’t have insurance?
That’s okay—services are paid directly at the time of your visit. If you have questions about pricing, please contact us.
How much does an appointment cost?
Fees vary by visit type. We’re happy to share current pricing and help you choose the best option.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is taken seriously, and your information is handled with strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and best practices.
Will my employer or family know I’m receiving treatment?
We do not share your information without your written permission, except in rare situations required by law (for example, immediate safety concerns).
Telehealth
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes. Telehealth appointments are available and designed to be secure, private, and easy to access.
Is telehealth as effective as in-person visits?
For many concerns, yes. We’ll recommend the best format based on your needs and comfort level.
Medications
Will I need to take medication?
Not always. Treatment options can include therapy, lifestyle changes, and medication when appropriate. We decide together based on your goals.
What about side effects?
We’ll review potential benefits and side effects carefully, and monitor your response so adjustments can be made when needed.
Can you prescribe controlled substances?
This depends on your clinical needs and applicable regulations. If medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss safe options and next steps.
Ready to take the first step?
You deserve to feel better. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or looking for a new provider, we're here to support you every step of the way.
